Oh yes! Lots of great applications for us to use. I have begun field testing it about a month ago and although it is a new learning curve for most, the adventure will be worthwhile. Applications for sharing proeprtyinofrmation, photo's, website infromation, is much more user freindly thatn the huddling around a laptop.

Also...the instant on is hot!. No eternal boot-up time or shut down delay. Whamo! It is on. I like it a lot (can you tell) and for movies on a plane, it works in HD. Don't want a monthly fee, but have an aircard, trade it in for a Mi-Fi card and be online wherever there is wi-fi or have your own. It alos will host up to 5 computeres at once. (Did I mention I like it?)

So...lots more, actually thousands of apps to explore. I will incorporate a lot of this information in many of the courses I am teaching. Want to chat, drop me an email. Having had the first Macintosh in Delaware, this takes me back to those days of learning so much, so fast. Remember, once you stretch your brain, seldom will it return tothe origninal shape.

Enjoy one soon.

Well it seems that the technology courses are starting to get booked again. Agents are recognizing the need to keep current on the newest in tecnology. The iPad, Goole Groups, Google Apps, the Cloud, 4 Square, Yelp  may sound like a foreign language to some, but just normal converesation to others.

At the annual CRS Sellabration in Las Vegas this year, technology was hot. (So was the 112 degree temperature I might add.) Over 390 agents from all over the United States (and Spain) attended. To learn more, contact us and we can talk tech with you. Be it a course or just a great conversation, now go out there.... and join a users group!  :-)

Yes, we are talking Spain!

On April 8th, 2010 in Madrid we held our first international Ninja Course in Madrid Spain. Sponsored by UCI, the class enrollment was optimistically set for 200 agents. Predictions proved wrong and ultimately 360 agents showed up. It was the largest gathering of real estate agents ever in the country. With simultaneous transalation, the students listened to instructor Mike Selvaggio through headsets. When asked about the challenges in teaching this format Mike said, "The most difficult thing was telling a funny story andnot geting the laughter for 30 seconds later...or not!" The class ended with a standing ovation, so we think it was a huge success.

Happy 2K10 to you.

Thanks for visiting MikeMyCoach.com

I wanted to give you something of value for the new year with an idea on how to use it. So here it is....

When you list a home, stop by a few of the neighbors and introduce yourself and say.."Hi, thanks for answering the door. I have your neighbors home listed for sale, (before the sign goes up) and I thought you might like to  have a copy of the information about it before we put up the sign. My name is Mike and I wanted you to be able to put a face with my name on the sign. By the way, do you have any questions about the house or real estate in general? By the way, I have a calendar for you."

(I have a WORD document for you that will allow you to put a photo of THEIR house on it, print it, and give it to them. VERY effective. Your information of course is in the middle of the one page, one year calendar and cannot be cut away without damaging the entire calendar.)

If they are not home, leave it unfolded in a large envelope taped to their door. You can use either the legal size that has room for a note on the bottom or the letter size.

Stop by again when the home is sold and let them know who the buyers are, with the buyers permission of course.

I suggest you get both versions. For the legal size with directions click on MikeMyCoach and for the standard size click here on Delaware Homes Real Estate.  Enjoy and have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Don’t go overboard on holiday decorations. Large decorations can make your home seem smaller and they can distract buyers. If you choose to decorate, opt for fewer and smaller items with a general winter theme.   Hire a reliable real estate agent.Ask family and friends to recommend a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) REALTOR® who willwork hard for you and be available during the holidays.   Seek motivated buyers. Any person shopping for a home during the holidays must be highly motivated. Target buyers who need to move soon, such as people relocating for jobs, college students and university staff on break, and investors on tax deadlines.   Price the property to sell. No matter what time of year it is, a home that’s priced appropriately for the market will attract buyers.   Pay attention to curb appeal. Maintaining your home’s exterior is just as important in the winter as it is during any other season. Touch up the paint, clean the gutters and spruce up the yard. Also keep buyers’ safety in mind by keeping stairs and walkways clear of snow, ice or leaves.   Use high-quality photos and/or a video tour to market your home on the Web. Homebuyers are likely to start their home search on the Internet, so these tools can help buyers who may not have time to visit your home in person.   Make your home cozy and inviting. When showing your home, crank up the heat, play soft music and offer homemade holiday treats. It will encourage buyers to spend more time in the home, which gives them a chance to admire its best features.
